Gunner Palace
I am going to see a previewing of Gunner Palace, a new movie coming to theaters in March. It is a documentary about the lives of soldiers from 2/3 Field Artillery, when filmmaker Michael Tucker lived with them in Uday Hussein's ex palace for two months. Should be good.
Today made me realize that my college classes are slightly different when taken on a military post. These are regular college classes, mind you....this particular one is just nothing but active duty male soldiers who talk loudly and candidly about their war experiences, sometimes yelling out an occasional F*** word. I sit quietly in my corner as not to draw any attention. A room full of guys that act exactly like my hyperactive, overbearing husband is often more than I can take.
Hope and Faith is on TV tonight. I have no idea why I like that show, but I do.
